To publish an image, please fill out the application form. When the letter is returned to IMRD, it will be evaluated and an invoice will be sent for fees, along with written permission to reproduce the image(s). Reproduction permission is contingent upon payment and assurance that two copies of the product in which the image(s) is used will be sent to IMRD without charge.

Policies:
Receiving an IMRD image does not express permission to reproduce the image, or permit the holder to allow others to do so. IMRD does not grant exclusive rights.

The user is responsible for copyright clearance. When an image is reproduced, the credit line should read: Copyright or Courtesy of the Institute of Maritime research and Discovery/photographer's name.

Limitations. Photographic material must not be used to imply that IMRD endorses any commercial product or enterprise, or concurs with the opinion expressed in any texts used with IMRD photographs.

Payment:
Duplication, printing, and shipping fees (please refer to the list below) are payable whether the image is reproduced or not. Checks should be issued through a U.S. bank and made payable to IMRD in U.S. dollars.
